Surgery Profile

We are a five partner practice. We have gone through some extensive changes over recent years. At present the partners in the practice are Paul Ballinger, Judith Holbrook, Jan Horstink, Jonny McMahon and Mohammed Tariq. We have a wide variety of experience and whereby we complement each other to provide a full and extended package of services.

On 6 September 2010 we opened a branch Surgery in Huntington at Colliers Way. For this reason and the change of partners within the practice we decided to re-name the "Hednesford Street Surgery" and change it to "The Colliery Practice" with a Huntington branch and a Cannock branch.

Opening times

8.30 am to 6.00 pm ~ Monday to Friday

Surgery appointment are booked only and are available throughout the day ~ times vary day to day but will be between 8.30am & 6.00 pm. Depending on location

The surgery is now also open on a Saturday morning between 9.00-12.00. This is for pre-booked appointments only. This surgery will be at the Huntington Branch

For emergencies  and any queries on a Saturday you will still need to go through the out of hours service.

In order to reduce the car park congestion during the week, please use the Saturday morning to order and pick up prescriptions. Thank you.
